Contemplating Wolf repaint commish + Ebay doll

Journal Entry: Sun May 18, 2008, 10:17 AM
Thanks for visiting!

Topic

Well firstly, my unicorn centaur doll is ending today. She's up to 205 now, which I'm really pleased with, but I thought I'd post that she's ending anyway :) Click [link]=p3907.m29
to check her out.

Jeremy suggested earlier that I repaint my Okami sculpture and (to quote him) make it more like a normal wolf, hehe. I thought it was actually a pretty decent idea, so in addition to what I posted a few entries back about it being for sale, I will do a custom paintjob on it for a higher price (I'm thinking like 250)
Let me know if anyone is interested, or if anyone has comments or ideas about doing it :)

I am working on commissions today!

Requests/Trades/Competitions/Redlines

So far as requests go, I sometimes do them for friends when I'm not too busy, and occasionally I'll do them randomly for people I don't know if I'm in the mood to draw a specific thing (unicorn, dog, etc.) So feel free to suggest new ideas to me. However, I'm under no obligation to make art of your suggestion. It really just depends on the idea and my schedule.
Same goes for trades, I'll do them if I have time and am feeling inspired.
I am always willing to compete in an art contest where fabulous gold and riches are the prize! I'd do the ones where art is the prize, but alas, I'm a starving student :< If you have one or know of any, don't hesitate to email or note me!
As for redlining, yes, I usually always do this. It feels a bit pretentious to advertise it, but I have received questions about it in the past, so thought I'd add it in here. If you want a redline, just note me a link to the picture and some details about what you believe is wrong. There are many things I suck at though, so I might not be too helpful!

Everything you do is so amazing to me!
I have loved Unicorns so much, my entire life, and here, you make them seem real.

Corny, yes, I know, but your gallery makes me smile deep inside, as if all of those childhood dreams of mine are coming true.

I am most definitely considering commissioning you, I just have to decide what I would like.

And also, thank you for the tutorial. If I ever have a baking oven, I will have to try to make one for myself!

Wow. I'm so impressed by your work, especially your sculptures. They look so real and you've done a great job with all the details :)

I'd humbly suggest that you sculpt a very old tree, or a character with equally long and just about "modestifying" hair with an as equally fitting and mysterious piece of jewelery like the character called the Keyguardian from the Thorgal comic has. Hmm, perhaps you could combine the two ideas and create a wood nympy, or a tree + general nymph ;)
