Artist's Comments

This sculpture was done four years ago, but never painted or finished. I found it in a box last week, so decided to paint it and hive it some hair. I've done him up as Calydor, from the Firebringer Trilogy, a trio of awesome books which I've loved for almost 10 years ^-^

The figure is epoxy putty (my old preferred medium) painted with acrylic, and "haired" with viscose. I'd have liked to have given him glass eyes, but the eyes were already sculpted on, sooo.

He is now owned by :iconstormphyre: :)

Unicorns are one of my favorite animals. And this is a beautiful sculpt of one, right down to the hand placed fur and awesome paint job. Enjoy! Summer Stars I by *Indigo-Ocean (Featured by `dedredhed)
